Keep Pasco Beautiful has been participating in the Great American Cleanup since 1992.  The Great American Cleanup in Pasco County is always the first Saturday in March, the next one will be on March 5, 2022.  This is a national event to promote shared community responsibility by picking up litter.  In 2021, 659 volunteers at 37 locations throughout Pasco County volunteered for 1,531 hours and picked up 18.46  tons of trash.  The Independent Sector values a volunteer hour at $27.20, which would put the volunteer cost benefit for this cleanup at $41,643.20.  There are locations throughout Pasco County, including kayak groups and boaters that clean waterways.  Keep Pasco Beautiful coordinates trash disposal and supplies trash bags, gloves, and t-shirts when available.  We are always accepting captains if there is an area you would like to clean up that is not already participating.  For more information contact .
