Greatest American Cleanup ®
March 7, 2026

Keep Pasco Beautiful has been participating in the Keep America Beautiful Great American Cleanup ® since 1992. The Great American Cleanup ® in Pasco County is always the first Saturday in March. The next one is planned for March 7, 2026. Start and end times will vary slightly based on location.
This is a national event to promote shared community responsibility by picking up litter. In 2025, 1,027 people volunteered for 3,240.5 hours and picked up 46,560 lbs. of litter. The Independent Sector values a volunteer hour at $33.49, which would put the volunteer cost-benefit for this cleanup at $108,524.34. There were 50 locations throughout Pasco County including Holiday, New Port Richey, Port Richey, Hudson, Land o' Lakes, Dade City and Wesley Chapel. Keep Pasco Beautiful coordinated trash disposal and supplied trash bags, gloves, and t-shirts.
Cleanups are not just about picking up trash, they are also litter prevention. Litter attracts litter so a clean space helps to prevent it. To register clink on the link below. Registration will close on February 27th so that we have time to gather supplies. Thank you all for doing your part to #KeepPascoWatersBeautiful
