ABOUT

Our Mission is to improve Pasco County by engaging the community in sustainable efforts to reduce litter, promote waste reduction, and encourage beautification.

 

Keep Pasco Beautiful, Inc. in a not-for-profit environmental organization located in Pasco County, Florida.  We are a community coalition of volunteers from the public and private sectors, including government, education, business, industry, civic groups and individuals.  The organization was first established in 1992 as Keep Pasco Clean and Green.  In 1994 we obtained our Keep America Beautiful affiliate certification and changed our name to Keep Pasco Beautiful, Inc. We are a self-supporting, non-profit Florida corporation, tax exempt under IRS 501(c)3, and are not part of any Pasco County government or office.  For every $1 we receive in government funding we raise $3.50 through donations and volunteer hours.

Executive Director
Ligia Martello Buchala

Ligia started her career protecting the Amazon Forest with a non-profit in Brazil. She began her journey with Keep Pasco Beautiful in 2021 as an intern finishing her Masters in Global Sustainability from the University of South Florida.  We are thrilled that she was hired as our Executive Director in 2023, sharing her dedication to the environment with our community.
